Dubai, year 2000, the start of the new millennium. A very optimistic atmosphere is brewing in the construction industry when Dubai had announced and laid out its plan to boost their real estate and tourism industry. The plan was to develop a new Dubai comprised of luxurious & modern community within mega-cities capped with ultra-modern state of the art buildings and commercial complexes. Vast areas barren desert will be transformed into cities, communities, hotels & hospitalities and free-zone complexes. One of these is the project called 'The Palm', where a collection of the world's largest consultants and development firms were commissioned to construct enormous artificial islands which has three distinct palm shaped that were so vast that it was visible from outer space.



This gave the opportunity for these two individuals who both dreamed of starting up their own firm and ultimately experience 'The Dubai Dream'.

Multiline started out as very modest firm, having a very small office located in the heart of Dubai with only a very minimal staff. As opportunities grow, the company also expanded then relocated to one of the industrial areas where it housed both the offices and the production facility.



The facility is comprised of three warehouses where two-thirds of which was used for production facility and the remaining housed the office where the design studio was created.



The design studio, the creative power house of the company is comprised of young and seasoned architects, interior designers and engineers. Together they can come up with a complete package of portfolio that can compete with some well-known Interior design consultancy in the world.



The production facility housed the joinery division named 'Al Mehrab Technical Services L.L.C.', a company created as an expansion due to the company's demand in woodworks and exhibition construction. The idea is that by creating a separate company which is dedicated for production, Multiline can also cater the demands of its competitor and service whatever needs they require for joinery from custom-made wooded furniture to wall and ceiling panels either by wood, aluminum or gypsum. Aside from woodworks, it also house a painting and finishing room where all the custom-made furniture and panels are being treated and finished.



For more than a decade, Multiline Interiors had designed and completed projects not only in the UAE but also in other countries as well. Countries such as Qatar, Bahrain, Thailand, Nigeria and the UK to name a few.
