BARAKAT CONTRACTING & MAINTENANCE

The Group's origin is traced back to 1965 when it was founded by Antoine Barakat as a building contracting business in Beirut, Lebanon. The company quickly gained a reputation for quality and service delivery, concentrating on select clients in the financial services industry, embassies and executive residences. In 1993, Antoine’s son George took over as CEO and expanded the business rapidly, branching into the building maintenance and facilities services sector. The company today boasts a substantial blue chip client base.

ARKAN CONTRACTING

Opening ARKAN in Amman, Jordan in 1998 was a direct result of the success in Lebanon. The company adheres to the same values and principles, delivering value and quality of service. ARKAN is well established in the Jordanian market having firm relationships with a number of prominent local and international clients.

MFM

Established in 2004 as a result of the growing need for a professional Facilities Services company in Jordan. The company works closely with ARKAN and currently has Facility Management contracts in place with two

international banks.

The Barakat Group is an organisation enjoying a prominent position in the construction markets in Lebanon, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
