McGettigan's JLT

2010 saw the very first McGettigan’s Irish Bar open its doors to great success in the trendy Jumeirah Lakes Towers neighbourhood in Dubai. Since opening McGettigan’s JLT’s popularity has grown from strength to strength, fast becoming a Dubai ‘institution’ and ‘home away from home’ for expats living and working in the city. McGettigan’s JLT is held in high regard as a surefire great night out for both visitors and residents alike. The bar is nestled beneath the elegant, 5 star Bonnington Hotel in Jumeirah Lake Towers and is just minutes walk from the metro and Dubai Marina pedestrian bridge.

Award-winning food and beverage is served daily from 12noon until late with a host of Dubai’s best bands and DJs performing on various nights each week. Many of Ireland’s top musicians, bands and comedians are flown into Dubai to perform live in a series of once off gigs throughout the year. Acts such as The Coronas, Aslan, Roisin O and Hermitage Green have all been over to peform in McGettigan’s JLT. Local comedy shows are also hosted regularly at ‘The Baggot’; a dedicated live entertainment venue situated within McGettigan’s JLT.

McGettigan’s JLT is also home to ‘The Baggot’ live music, comedy and private event venue. It is a premium event space available for private hire and provides the perfect setting for meetings, product launches, private celebrations and cocktail parties, in addition to fully catered seated events. The venue’s unique character and raw interior provides a relaxed, versatile and stylish environment with its generous size allowing for flexible layout options and capacity of up to 450 people.
