The first McGettigan's Irish Bar opened its doors in Dubai's hip Jumeirah Lakes Towers neighborhood in 2010 to tremendous success. Since its founding, McGettigan's has been increasingly well-known and has quickly established itself as a Dubai "institution" and "home away from home" for foreigners who live and work in the city.Every day from noon till late, award-winning cuisine and drinks are provided, and on different nights of the week, some of Dubai's top musicians and DJs perform. Throughout the year, a number of Ireland's best bands, comedians, and musicians are flown to Dubai to play live in a number of one-off events.
