About Us

Following its formation in 1971, the United Arab Emirates made vast and rapid strides in creating an economically stable country, while creating a secure environment for its citizens, residents, business and industry. Today, the UAE's status is a testament to the success and focus of its leaders. First Security Group (L.L.C.) was founded in May 2004 by ten of the men responsible for the establishment of Dubai’s Law Enforcement and Security infrastructure, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

Description

First Security Group was officially launched at a grand opening ceremony at the prestigious Grand Hyatt Dubai on May 25, 2005. The lavish event was staged at the hotel’s Banyias Ballroom and was attended by some 1,000 guests who came to witness the launch of the first private local security services company.



The grand opening ceremony was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai and was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Excellency Lt. General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police. Present at the event were also the company’s 10 founding members who welcomed the numerous guests and shared with them their vision for the future of the new company.



FSG’s opening ceremony was attended by a large number of government officials, police officers and representatives of local and international companies in addition to many businessmen. The event also generated huge interest among the local media and was covered by all major dailies as well as by specialised sector publications.
