Greetings from Don't Be Chai, a delicious sanctuary in the center of Dubai where French and North African cuisines perfectly combine together. Patrick Pelonero established it in 2021. With the goal of introducing Dubai to the rich culture of the Maghreb, Don't Be Chai was founded. At Don't Be Chai, every meal honors the historical connections between the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe by serving as a bridge among civilizations. A symbolic acknowledgement of the Middle East's contribution to the spread of Islam throughout Africa is the launch of our restaurant in Dubai. Don't Be Chai immediately rose to prominence as the highlight of Moroccan breakfasts in Dubai, enticing palates and creating a mosaic of genuine flavours. We were delighted to have Chef Hacene, a 27-year culinary genius, take the helm as we embarked on the gastronomic adventure in early 2024.
