Wolfi’s Bike Shop derives its name from Wolfgang Hohmann, better known as Wolfi. Wolfi and his passion for cycling have taken him from Germany and mountain-biking, through to Dubai and the fast-paced Friday Ride. His drive to grow cycling in all its forms is paralleled by the city he has chosen to call home in the Middle East.
Dubai is one of the most progressive and growing of the emirates in the UAE (United Arab Emirates), and Wolfi’s Bike Shop is keeping pace with the burgeoning cycling community. Located on the renowned Sheikh Zayed Road, and with a showroom space of 3500 square feet, here is where you will find Everything for Bikes! The Dubai shop was established in 2002, though the company has been in the bike business since 1989. In the Dubai Showroom there are 18 dedicated enthusiasts waiting to help you. The first Wolfi’s Bike Shop is located in Heitersheim, close to Freiburg im Breisgau in the beautiful Black Forest area of Southwest Germany. This is one of the sunniest and nicest areas for cycling as France, Switzerland and Germany intersect here. Wolfi’s Bike Shop Heitersheim Germany has a strong team of 9 dedicated staff and is managed by Detlef Hoelig (who lives and breathes cycling) in the same spirit as everyone at WBS Dubai. Wolfi oversees the Heitersheim shop remotely but Dubai is his passion and here is where you’ll find him.
We are the “Middle East Cycling Candy Store” and we strongly believe in the brands and products we have carefully chosen to carry. We calculated the total cycling experience available through our staff here, and came up with the astonishing result that between all of us, there is over 100 years worth of cycling knowledge available to you. This makes it easy for you. You don’t have to research, surf the net, or wade through old magazines – we have done it all for you! We’ve already said “No” to many suppliers of bikes and accessories; too unreliable, too heavy, badly designed, or second rate. What you will find here are some of the world’s leading cycling brands and products. Therefore we are an easy place to shop for great cycling gear.
Along with our great products and services, we are one of the only shops in the Middle East region that is actively involved in growing and supporting the cycling fraternity. We do this mainly through our patronage of the Dubai Roadsters cycling club, which holds three regular weekly rides that attract upwards of 150 riders for each ride.
We are here to provide all the help and support that enthusiastic cyclists want and need. Whether you are competing on the road or in triathlons, bouncing on mountain trails, free-styling on your BMX, or cruising for fun with your family – Wolfi’s is the place.

Wolfi’s Bike Shop is in between Interchange 2 (Safa Park, Meydan Road) and Interchange 3 (Al Manara
Road) on the service road of Sheikh Zayed Road, on the Al Quoz side (not the beach side).
If coming on Sheikh Zayed Road FROM Abu Dhabi towards Dubai:
Coming from Abu Dhabi driving towards Dubai, continue past the Mall of the Emirates (Interchange 4)
which is on your right hand side.
Keep going till you see the sign for Exit 43 Al Manara Road.
Take Exit 43 Al Manara Road but don’t turn onto Al Manara Road! Continue driving straight towards
Dubai and go underneath the overpass.
# There is a Sign to Al Quoz to your right and the exit onto the service road is just before the Metro
Station.
Exit towards Al Quoz at the Al Hadeed Road Exit.
You will initially be forced to go direction Abu Dhabi, but please follow the Metro Station signs and you
will go around-the-block and end up back on the service road towards Dubai.
Once on the service road stay on this road in direction Dubai (it is only one way traffic) for around 1.5
km.
Some of the buildings you will pass include Natuzzi Furniture, 4x4 Motors, Sedar.
There will be a street on your right immediately followed by a sandy plot of land.
Stop at the first building which is has 2-storeys. WBS is on the ground floor.

If you missed Al Manara Road then take the next, Exit 46 Al Waha Street.
You are past WBS by around 100m.
Either park your car immediately and walk back (towards Abu Dhabi) to our shop, or you can drive
“around-the-block”.
Take the first street on your right, and then turn right again back towards Abu Dhabi. When you get to
the sandy plat of land on your right, turn right, and right once more onto the service road.

If coming on Sheikh Zayed Road FROM Dubai towards Abu Dhabi:
Go past Interchange 2, Meydan Road (with Safa Park on your right hand side).
Take Exit 43 Al Manara Road, and do a U-TURN so you are heading back towards Dubai
Then follow the instructions above from # onwards.
