V.D.S marine was found in the U.A.E where the owner and chairman of the company Baron Dirk Van der Straeten was based and lived on his own private yacht.

He is a self made entrepreneur who understood the luxury retail business in Europe and Middle east.

With the strategy to gain less and produce more the vision of expanding with bigger market share came to light.

Started in the middle east with the huge potential the area offers dealing with local manufacturers in the U.A.E and ended up 3-4 years later building customize boats and yachts together with different shipyards around the world.

Head office based now in Seychelles one of the most beautiful islands in the world

with a wonderful office on Eden Island marina having the vision of creating fluting islands for recreation,education and residences.
