START is a non-profit organization established by Art Dubai and the Al Madad Foundation which applies the universal language of art to heal, educate and enrich the skills and opportunities of children in the poorest areas of the Middle East.





START is implementing the following projects over the next 2 years:

START will set up a permanent project in India providing year-round activities for refugee, disadvantaged and special needs children.

START will develop a training programme to encourage the local communities to participate in the workshops. This will enable the organisation to reach more children, become self-sustainable and give-back into the local community. This concept is currently being developed in Jordan, where motivated women in the refugee camps will be trained and financially rewarded to participate and support the START workshops.
