SHARJAH EQUINE HOSPITAL

Welcome to the Sharjah Equine Hospital. Established in 2003 under the patronage of H.R.H Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, the Sharjah Equine Hospital has become a rapidly maturing comprehensive diagnostic center which serves Sharjah and the surrounding Emirates. The goal of our experienced staff is to afford the best care possible for the horses brought to us and at the same time to nurture communication and provide education to the owners and referring veterinarians.

We continually strive to provide a high quality, caring service.

In additional to our exemplary clinical facilities, we offer an internationally acknowledged breeding center which contains the only E.U. approved laboratory for the import and export of frozen semen in the region.

Next to the hospital, a separate breeding unit was built offering a number of reproduction services. Stallions can be assessed for fertility and are stables within this compound which also is capable of being utilized as a Ministry recognized Quarantine Center. The Breeding Center contains our EU certified semen lab where semen is analyzed and prepared for use as fresh, chilled or frozen specimens by our specialist staff for future use.

The frozen semen can be stored in hospital containers or shipped at the owners request to a number of different localities. Stallions are examined for infertility / sub-fertility.
