Within the framework of traditional Islamic beliefs, Sharjah American International School offers a curriculum rooted in the United States. The guiding principle of SAIS is that children learn best in a supportive, nurturing setting that values regional customs and culture. We think that when a child's unique requirements are satisfied within a demanding and all-encompassing curriculum, their education is at its best.Dr. Aysha Sayyar and Dr. Nawaf Fawaz are the owners of the Sharjah American International School (SAIS) group of schools, of which the Dubai Branch is a member. Abu Dhabi, Umm Al-Quwain, Dubai, and Sharjah are the four Emirates where the SAIS family of schools has branches. We also understand that a contemporary educational program needs to be based on good and up-to-date teaching methods. In light of this, we think that staff development is essential to the success of our school. We hold that every kid learns differently and that, if feasible, training should be tailored to each classroom's unique learning requirements and styles. We also look for methods to include parents in school life because we understand how important they are to the learning process. Above all, we think that every child should have an engaging and enriching experience at school.
