R.I.T. Dubai

RIT Dubai was established in 2008 to provide world-class educational university programs in the United Arab Emirates for students and professionals from the Middle-East, North Africa and South East Asia. RIT Dubai offers the same accredited degrees that are offered by Rochester Institute of Technology, the 15th largest private university in the United States.



RIT, a comprehensive university founded in 1829, RIT has had a long history of offering degree programs that meet business and industry needs, and prepare students for successful careers in a global society. RIT Dubai offers the same high-quality, competitive, technology-based educational bachelors and masters degree programs. The university will also develop and deliver curricula and advance scholarship relevant to emerging technologies and social conditions of the region.

RIT Dubai began offering graduate degree programs in September 2008 in several disciplines in engineering, computing, business, and service leadership. These masters degree programs have been selected to support the need for personal and professional development, economic growth, and human capital development in Dubai and the Gulf region. The programs are part-time programs, and classes are offered in a variety of formats and at times that are most convenient for working professionals.



The university currently offers bachelor of science degrees in Marketing, Management, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. These undergraduate programs are designed for full-time study, and students combine practical experience with strong academic foundations, and an emphasis on technology. All undergraduate students will have the opportunity to fulfill part of their degree requirements by attending classes at the main RIT campus in Rochester, New York.
