Our Own English High School Fujairah

Inaugurated in 1988 by His Highness Sheikh Hamid Bin Saif Al Sharqi, Deputy Ruler of Fujairah, Our Own English High School has since grown to become the best on the East Coast with a 3100 strong international student community and around 150 staff members.



At Our Own English High School, Fujairah, every student is encouraged to explore the wealth of information beyond the mere academic units of knowledge. The modern facilities and resources available at the school provides an environment that encourages experiment, research and discovery.

We offer two choices of curriculum to our students giving them the advantage of choosing the curriculum best suited to their future career plans. Our Own English High School, Fujairah is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and prepares students for the All India Secondary School Examination, at Grade 10 and the All India Senior School Certificate Examination, at Grade 12. We are also affiliated to the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES), teaching IGCSE and University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), United Kingdom, at Grade 11.



A strong emphasis on academic excellence backed by a varied extra-curricular programme gives students well rounded perspectives and develops a strong foundation for the future. This is evinced by the many sporting and academic accolades the school has received in the last decade.
