Oro Italian Restaurant - Rocco Forte

Enjoy innovative, sophisticated cuisine in the stunning surrounds of the hotel’s signature Italian restaurant, Oro. The timeless Art Deco interior, designed by Martin Brudnizki and Olga Polizzi, is beautifully realised, with fan and sunburst mirrors on the walls adding to the glamour. Twinkling chandeliers, luxurious leather armchairs and marble tables create an atmosphere of polished opulence.



Menus are influenced by new trends in Italian cuisine, with a focus on traditional regional dishes, prepared with authentic ingredients. Lunch is a collection of classic dishes, such as lasagne and Milanese risotto, while dinner is more refined, with delicate seafood dishes – pan-fried scallops served with hot polenta and friggiteli cream; pan-seared sea bass in a clam sauce – and meat dishes – braised Aberdeen Angus beef cooked in Italian red wine, served with eggplant caviar. For the ultimate Oro experience, choose the five-course Degustation menu.



Oro exudes warmth and conviviality. The popular 360-degree bar is an intimate meeting place for drinks, and the open kitchen adds a sense of theatre. Guests may also enjoy small plates, such as Foccacine veneziane and Burratina with tomato sorbet and basil pesto, at the bar whilst sipping authentic Italian wine.



Classic cocktails are served traditionally or, in true Oro style, with a twist. Showcasing the best regional vintages, the wine list is all Italian.
