Optifashion was originally a manufacturer of optical frames and sunglasses established in Italy in the early 80’s and recognized worldwide as the first to understand that an eyewear is more than a medical device. It is a fashion and luxury accessory.
Following its visionary intuition, it was the first in the world to secure licensing agreements with fashion houses for the production and distribution of branded eyewear such as Gucci, Missoni, Laura Biagiotti, Gianfranco Ferre' and other top Italian fashion brands.
Optifashion transformed the eyewear industry forever!
In the 90’s Optifashion was acquired by the industry leader Safilo s.p.a. In 2003 Safilo s.p.a. and the leading eyewear distributor in the GCC, Optitalia Group, converted it into a retail project that has been developed in the Gulf region.
Since then, and pursuing its vision of being recognised as the most exclusive eyewear boutique in the region, Optifashion aims to transform an eyewear necessity into a luxurious journey. A journey where any eyewear need is impeccably satisfied through top fashion and luxury brands within an outstanding environment.
With a number of boutiques spanning from U.A.E. to Qatar, from K.S.A to Kuwait, Optifashion plans to expand its vision beyond the Middle East.
