Mumtaz Boat is the biggest dhow in the creek. It is a double-decker boat that has capacity of 300 persons in sit down style. In 1996 it was used as a Thai stationery floating restaurant. During the opening of the Dubai Shopping Festival in 2003, Mumtaz served as the opening salvo for the official launching of the festival.
