The main objective of the library, which was established in 2014, is to inspire a love of learning in all United Arab Emirates residents, especially among youth. Through our event calendar, high-quality information services, and free access to an exceptional selection of books and other knowledge resources, we actively promote and encourage reading, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.Our library building, which faces Dubai Creek, is shaped like a rehl, the traditional wooden book rest used to carry the Quran. Our seven-story building is home to Dubai's most ambitious cultural project to date, creating a beacon of innovation, knowledge, and culture with the goal of expanding a collection by acquiring millions of books from around the globe.
