His father, a shoemaker who made sure his customers were happy, served as an inspiration to him. Later, the company grew to incorporate clothing and shoes. Yacoub's son, Mr. Tariq, carried on the company's principles by offering fashionable, high-quality clothing and shoes at reasonable costs. Following in his grandfather's footsteps, he established "Karakeeb," a retail establishment in the United Arab Emirates, in 2011.
