About Us

It is located on the eastern south of Al Ain city and is 800-1160 high, so it is the highest mountain in the UAE. It belongs geographically to Al Hajar Chain of mountains, but it is separate from them. There is a lightened zigzag road leading to the summit and is 14 km long. Jebel Hafeet road was opened 6 years after the site was officially recognized, with a cost of AED 120 million. Here, you can find Mercure Grand Hotel (Jebel Hafeet).

Description

It is considered a remarkable heritage site, where many tombs dating back to 4000 BC are located. You can also enjoy watching pottery and bronze items in Al Ain Museums, stone remnants of sea creatures and items that are older than 100 million years when mountains were still under the sea level.

Jebel Hafeet is home to a rich wild life. Visitors can watch eagles flying between slopes. Caves were also discovered recently, and some are believed to be old tombs. The foot of the mountain includes Green Mabraza, which is another fascinating tourist site in the region.
