Holy Trinity

The Holy Trinity Church is an inter-denominational Christian church in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was founded on April 5, 1970 on the land granted by the Emir of Dubai, Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. The church has strong ties to the Anglican tradition, but is used by over 120 different Christian groups, with 10–11,000 worshippers attending weekly.Rev. John Weir was appointed Anglican chaplain in 2004.John served until September 2010 and the position remains vacant at this time (October 2010). The bishop of the Diocese of Cyprus and the Gulf is Rt. Reverend Bishop Michael Lewis, 54, who began his ministry in 2007
