Fired by a desire to light the lamp of education, Mr. John M. Thomas, founder and chairman, started the school in 1979. With the initial and humble enrollment of 200 students and 35 teachers, GIHS has grown to become one of the best educational institutions in the Gulf under the guidance and support of the Ministry of Education and the Government of Dubai.
