GRAKO was establishing during the UAE's property, architectural, tourism and business boom of 2004. Public appearance was of paramount importance. The UAE Government and municipalities therefore started implementing strict regulations, so to meet new standards of cleanliness. However, traditional cleaning companies were not equipped to offer alternative cleaning methods to replace the costly and time consuming methods of re-painting facades in order to maintain the general cleanliness and public image of a property.

GRAKO took this opportunity to become the first company in the region to introduce specialized cleaning services to asset and maintenance managers who were being faced with constant weather challenges and architectural restrictions, brought on by innovations in design. One such example of GRAKO's solutions was pressure washing. This new result-driven and cost effective method of cleaning external facades was an all-together better alternative to the traditional methods used at the time. More innovative cleaning solutions that did not disrupt the running of normal business operations and achieved cleanliness goals at highest quality in shorter timeframes, for less, were introduced gradually thanks to the success of our operations.
