Belongs to the tribe of Al-Ali, who belongs to the rulers of the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain illusion of belly Rabia, Collapse of bin Zaid bin Adad, and the rulers of the Emirate of Umm Al Ali tribe.
Prince was born in the city of Umm Al Quwain on 01/10 / 1952 AD, is married to a daughter of His Highness Sheikh / Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has ten sons.
Received his primary education and the Mediterranean in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain, and finished his secondary education in the Republic of Lebanon, and received his university education at the University of Cairo and graduated in 1973 allocated the economy.
Received a number of courses in different fields of language acquisition and refinement of knowledge and culture.
Thirdly appointed secretary in the Cabinet of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 06/01/1973 AD.
In 1977 he was appointed commander of the National Guard colonel in the emirate.
Took over the presidency of the Amiri Diwan in Umm Al Quwain in 1979.
In 1 / September / 1402 AH corresponding to 22/7/1982 , he was appointed as Crown Prince of the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain.
His work alongside his father in the management of governance and the follow-up investment projects in the emirate and contributed to the establishment of many of the departments and local institutions and the follow-up, manage and develop even keep pace with the comprehensive renaissance witnessed by the UAE.
Attended along with his father and many of the meetings at the level of the Supreme Council of the Union of the United Arab Emirates. Also like his father alone in these meetings, with the presence of a political, economic, and experience in the management of economic institutions and others.
Presided over many of the boards of directors of joint stock companies, led by the founding directors of the Bank of Umm Al Qaiwain, and Gas Company, Umm Al Quwain, and Umm al-Qaiwain Cement Company.
Contributed to the agreements of investment and exploration for oil and gas in the emirate of Umm Al Quwain, and launched the first joint venture for gas with the Government of Ras Al Khaimah in offshore field in 2006 .
His Highness studying the reality of performance in government departments in Umm Al Quwain, and work to develop new mechanisms for the development of work in accordance with the electronic systems of modern and contributed to the refinement of national cadres in government departments and institutions, as well as to develop new communities, and the adoption of schemes emirate, and the continued implementation of the directives regarding the development of services.
