Welcome to GEMS Wellington Academy – Silicon Oasis that opened with nearly 1,100 students in a brand new purpose built school in September 2011.

GEMS Wellington Academy offers the National Curriculum for England and we are ambitious to be an outstanding international school serving students aged from 3 – 18, where students make excellent academic progress and develop as the whole - child in preparation for their futures.

Our mission is to provide a vibrant, positive and dynamic learning environment where every single child matters to us. We want students to be happy in their learning and enjoy their time at school. We also want to support them in preparing for their future through the use of technologies into our curriculum and by offering a wide range of opportunities for students to excel.

We have extremely high expectations for students to succeed both academically and in their holistic development and we encourage the whole Academy community to be confident, independent learners who think reflectively and creatively to achieve their full potential.

Our teachers are all fully qualified and experience in the delivery of the National Curriculum for England and they are recruited for their special talent and enthusiasm for teaching and desire to get the best from the children they teach. Our teachers are kept up to date with an abundance of professional development opportunities.

Crucial to our work, is the strong emphasis that we place upon the relationship between the child, the school and the parents. We value our relationship with parents and seek numerous ways in which we can involve you in the life of the Academy.
