The innovative heritage of the late H.E. Saeed Ahmed Lootah, a pioneer in UAE education, is embodied by Dubai Medical University. His dedication is demonstrated by the establishment of Dubai Pharmacy College in 1992 and Dubai Medical College for Girls in 1986. Acknowledging the value of interdisciplinary cooperation and a comprehensive approach to healthcare education, the revolutionary union of these long-standing establishments, coupled with the recent addition of the College of Nursing in 2023, represents an important turning point—the establishment of Dubai Medical University.The goal of this evolution is to create a complete healthcare education institution that offers a wide range of programs in different healthcare professions, from undergraduate to graduate degrees. The founding of DMU has a favorable effect on the healthcare sector in Dubai and the UAE in addition to raising educational standards and offering students a more inclusive and comprehensive educational experience.
