About

The Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development (DIHAD) Conference & Exhibition was established on April 6–8, 2004, and has grown to become the world's premier humanitarian aid and development event under the distinguished patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Dubai.

The 21st edition of DIHAD, which will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from April 29 to May 1, 2025, will address the difficulties of development and humanitarian assistance in the face of growing global polarisation. This subject emphasises DIHAD's commitment to tackling the disputes and divisions that impede humanitarian operations while investigating creative partnerships and solutions.

Several world-renowned humanitarian leaders have graced previous DIHAD editions with their esteemed presence, including H.E. Mr. Antonio Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations; H.E. Mr. Jagan Chapagain, Secretary-General of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC); H.E. Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organisation; and numerous others.
