Under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Dubai Equine Hospital was established in 1995. The Dubai Equine Hospital was first established to offer veterinary treatment for local horses, but it has grown and changed to accommodate the growing and diverse equine population. In addition to caring for the resident horses, the hospital today satisfies the needs of the Middle East's internationally oriented horse business. The fact that this achievement was made feasible within the original facilities is evidence of the original creators' foresight and the ongoing pursuit of excellence by everyone involved.
