Motivated by the UAE's tradition of pearl diving, our founder, Ramie Murray, led the shift in 2016 from the conventional Arabian pearl oyster sector to the cultivation of an edible oyster variety. The Dibba Bay oyster is thriving and continues to highlight the region's legacy through its unique and brilliant white and gold shell, thanks to the special circumstances of the ocean that have made Arabia famous for its glossy white pearls. The Dibba Bay oyster shell preserves the distinctive characteristics of the Emirates' waters, which were formerly represented by the fabled white pearls. Our farm, which spans 9 hectares of offshore concessions in the pristine waters of Dibba, which are home to coral reefs and a variety of marine life, is tucked away between the stunning Hajar Mountains and the shimmering Indian Ocean. The oysters are cultivated on a sparsely populated shoreline in incredibly pure waters.
