The Aliya Group, based in Abu-Dhabi, started its operations in the U.A.E in 1998, and has interests in restaurant, catering and foodstuffs. Mr. A.V. Sidheek-the Managing Director heads the group of the company. After setting up number of units for industrial catering, namely, Bonfood Catering L.L.C-Dubai, Bonfood L.L.C Ajman; their vision rested on the idea of offering the best of international cuisine to the U.A.E market, at the most affordable rates. This led to the opening of the multi cuisine BONFOOD-taste the world; an A-Grade Food Court in Madinat Zayed Shopping Centre, Abu-Dhabi.



Impressed by its high standards and quality, Bonfood was invited by ADNOC-FOD, U.A.E’s leading petroleum distribution company, to associate with their “New Image Petrol Filling Stations”. Bonfood will play a major role in these numerous petrol stations planned in next five years. Opening of Bonfood as a major food outlet in Al-Samha twin filling stations , The biggest petrol filling station in the Middle East, is a beginning of this long term partnership with one of the most prestigious oil company in U.A.E. This was followed with outlets in Al-Faya, Tariff & Officers City in Abu-Dhabi. We have also entered into an alliance with EMARAT, another reputed Petroleum company based in Dubai. Our first project with them is an outlet at Emarat Petrol Station in Dibba, Fujaira. The Company also has its own Supermarkets; 7 Emirates Market, Middle East Super Market & Emirates Oasis Market to ensure a high quality supply of Raw Materials for its Catering operations.



Our Institutional Catering Division caters to Signal Corps, Al-Nahyan Defence Camp and Interior Ministry. Both Located in Abu Dhabi. Reputed 5-Star Hotels such as Le-Meridian, Beach Rotana, Al Maha Rotana, Beach Rotana Hotel & Towers also add to our list of reputed clients. Recently Started in Higher College of Technology, Al Ain Zoo, Liwa,Gayathy & Ras Al Khaimhah.  Inspired by its relentless pursuit of customer satisfaction in the hospitality industry, Bonfood endeavors to fan its plumes in the neighboring states of Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, in the coming years.

We believe our service offers a “fresh approach” alternative to Industry and Commerce throughout Abu Dhabi.

Food supply purchases agreements are updated and negotiated on a regular basis, ensuring our customer receive the full benefit of our purchasing power throughout the end product. Product quality is just as important and regular visits are made to our supplier’s premises to ensure standards are upheld.



3. RECRUITMENT:

BONFOOD employees are the link to the customer, and for this reason all categories of staff are carefully selected and screened for the specific requirements of the particular contract, with Terms and Conditions which ensure they are motivated to complete the “job in hand”. Trade testing and practical of staff is an integral part of our recruitment, to ensure the right man in the right position.



4. TRAINING:

ALL grades of staff receive both induction and progressive training to the accepted hospitality standards. All professional grades are school/college/university trained and recruited from various parts of the world, meeting specific requirements of our customers.





5. HEALTH & SAFETY

A Vital aspect of our attitude to the importance of the customer and to our role in the provision of life support, is the necessity to focus on Health and Safety. Daily checks are made on kitchen and stores to ensure Abu Dhabi Municipality standards are maintained We comply with the health, sanitary and food handling requirements as well as customs quarantine or other regulations in force by the Ministry of Health Departments and General Authority for Health Services, United Arab Emirates.



6. PROGRESS REVIEW:

To ensure a high level of understanding and information, we encourage regular meeting with our clients to discuss on-going adjustments and future planning.



7. OPEN BOOK

To ensure our client’s confidence in our service, we offer a facility for on-site and head office inspection and audit of contractual information pertaining to the particular contract.



8. MENU PLANNING/FOOD SERVICE:

We still consider the end product to be the “proof of the pudding” and every situation, ensure that the attention to detail of food production and service remains the most important activity of our Company.

Our resources and Contract-to Management ratio is such that we are able to provide a high level of input and consistent service, demonstrating that the customer has placed their Catering and support services in capable hands.
