Chef Shinji Taniuchi, Ambassador of Goodwill for Japanese Cuisine, established Bentoya Kitchen, a genuine Japanese eatery in Dubai, in 1997. Chef Shinji Taniuchi founded the traditional Japanese restaurant because he had a strong desire to serve real Japanese cuisine.We use only the freshest ingredients, from the fish selection to the flour used to make our noodling, and our menu offers a variety of nutritious selections. At Bentoya, we're constantly creating new goods and dishes that satisfy the tastes of traditional Japanese foodies while still staying current with contemporary trends.As a result of Bentoya's name becoming synonymous with Japanese cuisine in Dubai after 23 years, Chef Taniuchi was certified as a "Japanese Cuisine Goodwill Ambassador" for his efforts to promote Japanese product exports and facilitate the spread of Japanese cuisine and dietary practices both inside and outside of the United Arab Emirates.
