Barista traces its roots back to the old coffee houses in Italy - the hotbeds of poetry, love, music, writing, revolution and of course, fine coffee. Drawing inspiration from them, we have single-handedly taken on the challenge to transport the magic of Italian coffee houses to countries across the globe. No easy task, this – possible, nevertheless.



Barista is all about the joy of coffee. Research revealed that connoisseurs want more than a cup of coffee. They want an entire experience. In an ambience that is friendly, comfortable, and more importantly recognizable which is where consistency of branding, product, colors and communication come into play. Each espresso bar is designed keeping all this in mind.



Launched in the UAE in 2004, today Barista Espresso is a fast-growing brand that has appealed to a wide multi-cultural audience. The first market has been India– huge population, untapped market potential and the opportunity to grow rapidly in a short span of time. Towards this end, Barista opened its first espresso bar in Delhi. This was followed in rapid succession by a chain that spread out across the country.

Barista Espressso uses authentic Italian coffee beans and fresh ingredients. It has developed a number of refreshing beverages ranging from fresh fruit smoothies to iced coffee.
