Dear Parents,
On behalf of everyone at Al Yasat Private School, I should like to extend a very warm welcome to you and your family. We hope that our website will give you an insight into life at our school and what makes it such a very special place to be.
At Al Yasat, we pride ourselves in the fact that we know and care well for each and every one of our students and that we place them at the heart of everything that we do. The rich, varied and inspiring curriculum is planned to enable every student to have access to high quality learning experiences matched closely to individual need within a safe, secure and stimulating environment. We are dedicated to enjoyment and excellence in all aspects of school life, not least in our commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle, respect for our environment and consideration for one another. Our extensive grounds boast play areas, swimming pool, science laboratory, library, computer suite and specially designed areas for our youngest Kindergarten students.
Together, the whole staff work incredibly hard as a committed team to enable each student to achieve his or her potential. We provide specialist teaching in such areas as music, P.E., swimming, computer studies and art both within the normal school timetable and through the numerous after-school activities that we offer. We also provide a very well structured Arabic and Islamic Studies curriculum for our students.
At the heart of your child’s education lies our partnership with you, as parents, whom we encourage to be fully involved in all aspects of learning and school life.

Al Yasat we believe it is our special commitment to provide every student the opportunity to achieve educational success. To that end we are committed to providing a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on the whole-child. Our programs are designed to evaluate the academic, physical and emotional well-being of our students.
We firmly believe all students can learn. We understand that students learn in different ways and should be provided with a variety of instructional approaches to support their individual learning levels. We are committed to providing academic programs and services to support the individual student.
We believe education should be challenging, comprehensive and hands-on providing students the opportunity to explore, question and use logical reasoning skills.
We are committed to developing within our students the knowledge for maintaining high moral and ethical standards of conduct.
We are committed to developing tolerance, understanding and appreciation of the World and people of different ethnic backgrounds.
