The goal of Al-Arqam School was to establish a school that would contribute to the responsibility of nurturing and educating young people, providing them with purposeful educational services that would equip them with the skills, abilities, and knowledge required to navigate life's challenges. In 1988/1989, "Al-Khalil School and Kindergarten" opened in a tiny rented property in Jumeirah, Dubai. It started with fewer than thirty students, five teachers (including two administrators), and three classrooms.
