Abu Dhabi Fertilizer Industries WLL (ADFERT) was established in 1995 in Abu Dhabi (U.A.E.) as a result of a successful joint venture between:



ADFERT one of the largest agricultural firms engaged in the sales and marketing of fertilizers in the region, and SQM (Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile SA) the worldwide leading producer of specialty fertilizers with over four decades of experience in Specialty Plant Nutrition.



In 1997 construction of the NPK chemical fertilizer plant was finalized, with the first trial production run occurring in early July the same year. In August 1997 commercial production in 2 full shifts had already begun.

Today, ADFERT is one of the leading companies in the manufacturing and exporting of specialty plant nutritions in the Middle East and Near East (more than 22 countries) with an annual production capacity of 96,000 MT:

NPK Water Soluble Fertilizer Capacity of 48,000 MT1

NPK Granular Fertilizer Capacity of 40,000 MT2

Liquid and Suspension Capacity of 7000 MT3

Trace Element and Foliar Capacity of 1000 MT4



The total workforce of 100 employees consists of highly skilled and specialized professionals with expertise in the fields of Agronomy, Chemistry, Marketing, Engineering and Research & Development.
