ABSA Group was incorporated as a private limited company in 1985, founded by an enterprising Saudi Marine Captain, Ibrahim Barrak Al Omani, educated in United Kingdom and served as senior Ranking Officer on board reputed international shipping lines. He has also held senior Executive positions on shore, port and terminals in the Middle East. He has served as Chairman for many organizations and has more than three decades of unrivalled maritime, commercial and navigational experience.
