The founder of 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu, Eddie Bravo, is a 4th degree black belt trained by Jean Jacques Machado and the creator of numerous useful, original No Gi Jiu Jitsu techniques.Gabriel Santos, our head coach, is the ideal balance between the two approaches. He rose through the ranks with Eddie Bravo as his training partner and is now a third degree black belt under Jean Jacques Machado.In addition to being a world-renowned Jiu Jitsu coach, Gabriel is a black belt and champion Jiu Jitsu competitor. Known by his nickname "The Twister," he rose to fame by submitting his opponents in the twister, which Eddie Bravo popularized.
