Mulberry Tree Montessori Nursery

The Mulberry Tree Nursery's staff have decades of experience and academic achievement leading to a strong trunk and deep roots. These are enshrined in the rich soil of love and understanding. The Mulberry Tree's big leaves hug the tender fruits like our team hug and care for your child, steadily supporting them to develop into the bright minds of tomorrow.



As soon as your child comes to the Mulberry Tree Nursery he/she will be allocated to a key person who will ensure they develop a strong and nurturing relationship with your child and ensure all your child’s needs are met. A progress and development file will be kept for each child; this file will contain evidence about your child’s achievements and learning progress and will also include an evaluation of their experiences. Parents will be encouraged to contribute to this evidence by their own statement about their child’s progress at home.





We place much emphasis on staff member’s qualifications, credentials as well as their personality and empathy towards children. We only employ people who we think have a warm, friendly, nurturing personality towards children and parents. Members of staff are also expected to have a genuine understanding of children and their need for a stimulating and challenging environment.

Montessori is an educational pedagogy that focuses on the individual child and his needs. The concepts behind the pedagogy were consolidated by Dr. Maria Montessori in the beginning of the 20th century.



Mission

To provide a secure and supportive and homely environment in which children from 3 months to 4+ years will learn to play and work co-operatively with peers. We will work very hard to give your child every opportunity and encouragement to develop socially, mentally and physically and become confident in his/her ‘academic’ abilities. This will enable your child to adapt to an ever changing world. Our broad curriculum adopts a holistic approach, whereby the children are offered a wide selection of activities to further their education.
