Hamlet- Flamenco Ballet with Live Music & Choir by Jesús Herrera

World-class dancers, a live orchestra, and a choir are among the more than thirty performers that enter the stage to create the performance's lively pulse. The show, which is directed by the renowned Spanish choreographer Jesús Herrera, transforms a tale of love, treachery, and insanity into a mesmerising theatrical experience by fusing the primal fury of flamenco with the intellectual profundity of Shakespeare.

This is a fresh interpretation of Hamlet, not just an adaptation, in which every gesture symbolises the age-old struggle between reason and emotion in human nature and movement takes the role of words. Inspired by Mussorgsky and enhanced by the Orfeón Donostiarra choir's powerful voices, the music combines with flamenco singing to produce a unique creative synthesis: a collision of the classical and modern worlds, of light and shadow, of quiet and rhythm.
