One of Iraq's most beloved romantic singers, Haitham Yousif, also referred to as "The Prince of Love," has a legacy that spans decades throughout the Arab world and the Iraqi diaspora.

He originally won people over with his 1989 debut single, "Ma Asalihak," which was shown on Iraqi television. This set the stage for a string of poignant songs that solidified his status as a mainstay of Arabic love music. “Aḥbāb al-Rūḥ,” “Saber Ayoub,” “Lēsh Ikhtalaf,” and “Yā Shōg” are some of his most famous songs.
