Brownie Blues

My journey did not begin overnight. It all started with my children having a favorite Brownie treat baked by my childhood friend. A friend dearer than a sister. She would so lovingly send over dozens and dozens of Brownie treats for my children to enjoy. When I met her over every summer, they would be showered with love and affection accompanied with Brownie treats.



One summer while we sipped away our on our chai, she offered to teach me how to bake the Brownies. This was one Brownie that I would have loved to bake and the one I or anyone could eat everyday. Not too cakey, not too fudgy – just right

Hence began my baking journey.

That summer of 2010, I began to bake these treats regularly for my children. They would regularly treat their friends and teachers at school.



Soon requests from school moms and friends who had tried the Brownies started to pour in. I was happy to oblige and they insisted to compensate me for my efforts.



Through word of mouth I have now sold 8350 Brownies to date. This long journey also resulted in me experimenting with various additions and toppings as a part of special requests.
