City Centre Deira, opened in 1995 by Majid Al Futtaim Properties, is billed as one of the most visited malls in the world with footfall traffic crossing 21 million a year. It sprawls over 115,000 square metres housing 370 retail outlets and services including VOX multiplex cinemas, Magic Planet leisure zone, Bowling City and 5-star hotel facilities like Pullman, Novotel, and Ibis. Winner of the Dubai Award for Sustainable Transport Mobility Management in 2010, the City Centre Diera mall offers direct access to the Dubai Metro.
