Sirodhara
Specially blended herbal oil with medicated butter, milk etc. is poured on the head through a dedicated pot. The flow of oil is from a prescribed height. The flow is controlled with professional precision.
Nasyam
Medicated oil, select herbal extracts etc. poured through nose is an effective remedy to sinusitis, migraine, sleeplessness and mental stress. This ayurveda therapy is called Nasyam.
Navarakizhi
Fomentation with the bolus of cooked rice boiled in herbal decoction and milk are applied all over the body by trained masseurs. This therapy is effective in relieving muscular pain, joint pain, low back pain, emaciation of limps etc…
Udvarthanam
Udvarthanam means to elevate or to promote. The name can be attributed to the treatment ability to improve the body condition by upward stroke massage using select herbal powder. This is an effective ayurveda therapy for obesity, limp pain due to diabetes and certain rheumatic disorders.
Vasthi
A specific dosage of a blend of herbal oils, mixed with herbal extracts is administered as enema, after determining the body constitution. This ayurveda therapy is effective for chronic constipation, pain on the joints of limbs and pain on the lower back of the body.
Katee Vasthi
This ayurveda therapy helps reduction of pain on the lower back of the body. The patient is made to lie flat on his stomach. A thin square boundary wall is made with specific herbal paste on the lower portion of patient’s back to hold medicated oil poured on the body and is allowed to remain still for a span of 60 minutes.
Ilakizhi
A cotton bag containing herbal leaves and herbal powder is heated with oil. This bag is applied on the entire body or any specific part of the body where the patient is experiencing pain. This is special suedation therapy effective to correct rheumatic disorders, reduce pain on the lower back, joint injuries, neck pain, shoulder pain etc…
