Sunny Meadows Montessori Nursery is the brainchild of two local educators. They longed for an educational environment as close to the home schooling that they wished to give their own children. They shared a deep belief that all children deserve the very best care and nurturing attention. They therefore undertook years of research and study on how to implement a nursery school in Abu Dhabi that would mimic the attention and care usually associated with home schooling. With over 30 years teaching experience between them, they recognized the benefits of the Montessori Method and selected it as the underlying curriculum to make their vision become reality. The Montessori Method is renowned for its scientifically proven efficacy and for the attention to the individual that it promotes.



The first Montessori nursery they founded was in Khalifa City A. It is in a spacious villa with a beautiful garden meadow with a large sanded play area and children's gardening area. Sunny Meadows Montessori Nursery quickly gained a reputation for its international student body, its personalized care for each child and for its peaceful, welcoming environment. Sunny Meadows distinguished itself by offering care for children with special needs supported by shadow teachers for each child. Allowing children with special needs to socialise with regular classrooms has had a double benefit – better development progress in the child with special needs and a greater sense of caring and compassion in the other children. This early success, along with an overwhelming demand, has prompted us to expand to the Al Muroor area in a conveniently located and cosy villa.



We are glad to say that Sunny Meadows Montessori Nursery II – Al Muroor Area is now open and accepting registrations!

We are one of the earliest Montessori nurseries in the region, widely reputed to have introduced classical Montessori to the area.



At our nurseries, we measure success by our ability to give the most personalized care to each of our precious children. We recognize the child as an individual, each with special gifts. Our task is to ensure that we assist the child and parent to know and celebrate each moment of discovery, wonder and achievement while the child develops the necessary tools for success in his/her life as a complete person.



Our nursery in Khalifa City A is well established and has earned the respect of the community throughout the area. Sunny Meadows is now happy to announce that our second branch in the Muroor area is now open.



We will also be celebrating the opening of our third branch in Al Rayan compound in the near future.
