In February, 2011 under the patronage of HH Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, President of Baniyas Sports Academy, and in the presence of Florentino Perez, President of Real Madrid Football Club, Baniyas Investment and Development Company, the investment arm of Baniyas Sports Club, announced the inauguration of the Realmadrid Foundation for Social Sports Academy in the UAE. The RealMadrid Foundation Academy UAE advocates a healthy lifestyle among the UAE youth between the ages of 4 and 17. The Academy focuses on discovering new young talents and coaching them towards sporting professionalism through the practice of sports and the observation of wholesome diets The Realmadrid Foundation Academy UAE will commence its third season in September 2013 with successful academies established in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai and our latest academy recently opened in Al Ain.
