Our Own English High School- Girls Sharjah

Our Own English High School, Sharjah, was established in 1982. Since then, rapid changes have taken place to enhance its standard and dimensions; the only thing that has remained constant is our commitment to excellence.



As a GEMS school, we have a distinct advantage. We are part of a fraternity of GEMS schools across the globe and our teachers have access to information and new ideas through regular seminars and orientations conducted by internationally acclaimed personnel.



Holistic education is our aim, whilst our goal is to get our students into the top bracket of academic achievers. We never lose sight of the real perspective – that of shaping our students into caring and responsible citizens. We believe that education is a preparation for life. We explore a variety of options through which our children can develop their curiosity and confidence.
