New Pharmacy consists of four pharmacy outlets, an optical centre and a scientific equipment and educational aid showroom. The total built-up area of these outlets aggregates to 585 m2. The service offerings of New Pharmacy include:

Advice on correct usage of medication

New Pharmacy is staffed by 47 experienced pharmacists and 62 administrative and support staff.



Bait Al Shifa Pharmacy L.L.C. (“Bait Al Shifa”)



Established in 1991, Bait Al Shifa operates adjacent to NMCHD on a 24 hour basis 7 days a week.



Bait Al Shifa operates out of ground floor of the New Al Safiya Building, with a total built-up area of 163m2. The service offerings of Bait Al Shifa include:

Inpatient prescriptions

Outpatient prescriptions

Over-the-counter non-prescription medicines

Advice on correct usage of medication

Drug information and patient advice

Bait Al Shifa is staffed by 20 experienced pharmacists and 28 administrative and support staff.

NMCH operates its own brand of pharmacies supporting its hospitals, in order to ensure an integrated medical service to patients receiving treatment at its hospitals and clinic.The pharmacies associated with NMCSHAD, NMCSHAA and NMCHD operate as community pharmacies, serving patients from these hospitals as well as external patients. The pharmacy operating within MCSHD operates as a hospital pharmacy and serves patients from NMCSHD only.
