Motivate, which has been established in the region for over thirty years, is the Gulf’s leading publisher of magazines and books, with a developing presence in digital platforms, events and cinema. The company recently refreshed its brand and relocated to Dubai Media City, providing a new vision and location to drive further growth and innovation.



Motivate was founded in 1979 with the launch of What’s On and the magazine portfolio now includes the region’s most successful home grown titles including Emirates Woman, Gulf Business and identity each with their own brand extensions spanning print and digital platforms. Through our global publishing partnerships with Conde Nast, Haymarket and HOLA! we have launched Middle East editions of such respected titles as Golf Digest, Stuff, Campaign and HELLO! and we continue to bring new titles to the market.

Our portfolio comprises more than 30 market-leading consumer and contract magazines, over 300 books and a robust digital division delivering an online platform for our brands and those of our contract partners. With a staff of more than 200 experienced and dedicated professionals, we are committed to providing editorial excellence, with a corporate mission to develop integrated communication channels that entertain, inform and enrich.
