Mirdif Private School

Mirdif Private School, Dubai was founded in 1995 as an American-based curriculum school accepting students from the age of 3 till 15 years old. In September 2009 the school relocated to its newly purpose-built campus expanding into grades 7, 8 and 9 in September 2010 to reach the three levels of : Kindergarten, Elementary and Intermediate.



The school’s educational program caters for Arabic and International expatriate students. Mirdif School implements a policy of accepting children from all nationalities and backgrounds provided they can cope with the school’s academic requirements and standard.



The size of the school and the limited numbers ensure that a friendly atmosphere is maintained and that the children’s individual abilities and potential are fully appreciated.



In keeping with the school’s motto the main objective of the school is to inspire “high ideals” and motivate in children academic achievements and to show understanding in coping with the pressures of modern life.

The school is run by the principal who sets the long term goals of the school and devises strategies for attaining them. A senior management team of ten working cooperatively with the principal to achieve the common goal of the school, insuring not only the implementation of daily managerial procedures, school policies and providing supervisory support but actively participating in the decision-making and leadership process. This results in a daily working environment characterized by open communication, shared decision-making, shared accountability and professional improvement.
