These are the tasks entrusted to the Ministry in the following points: -

Coordination between the government and the Federal National Council with regard to the initiation of the Federal National Council of its powers.

Participate in the preparation of legislation related to the role of the Federal National Council.

Supervision over the affairs of the media with regard to parliamentary life.

Any other functions vested by virtue of the laws, regulations and resolutions of the Council of Ministers.

And emerging strategy of the Ministry of State for National Council of the strategy of the Government of the United Arab Emirates unveiled by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, which aims to achieve sustainable and balanced development and to ensure prosperity for the citizens which embodies the role of the NAP the foundations of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE in his speech to mark the fourth anniversary of the thirty-do Federation in the first of December of the year 2005, which included a national action plan included many topics, including activating the role of the Federal National Council to be the authority to support and supportive of the authority the executive.



The strategy of the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs stems from the National Action Program announced by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan on 1 December 2005 to mark the 34th anniversary of the establishment of the United Arab Emirates Federation.

The speech included a plan for activating the role of the Federal National Council (FNC) to become a power that backs and supports the executive body. The strategic plan of the Ministry also emanates from the strategy of the UAE government declared by UAE Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, which aims to achieve sustainable and balanced development and secure prosperity for the people.

The ministry was established as per Federal Decree No (10) of 2006 on the UAE cabinet formation which included, for the first time, the establishment of a ministry concerned with the affairs of the FNC.



The functions of the ministry are as follows:

* Coordination between the government and the FNC

* Participation in drafting legislations related to the role of the FNC

* Supervision of media affairs linked to parliamentary practice
