Dr. Deon Hugo

Dr. Deon Hugo graduated from the Department of Dentistry, University of Pretoria, South Africa in 1992.



After qualification he was in private practice in Pretoria, South Africa until January 2003. Since then, Dr. Hugo has been practicing at the British Dental Clinic. Dr. Deon Hugo is married with four children.



Dr. Hugo lectured pre - graduate students at the department of endodontics at the University of Pretoria for many years. He lectures extensively throughout the world, including the United Arab Emirates on local anesthetic techniques, particularly computer controlled painless local anesthetic techniques and microscopic endodontics.



His work in the Pretonia clinic was mainly root canal therapy treating difficult cases referred by other local dentists.



Dr. Hugo has completed numerous post-graduate courses in all aspects of modern dentistry. He has a special interest in endodontics (root canal treatment) and is using one of only two microscopes in the U.A.E. in his treatment of routine and difficult cases.

Post graduate certificates in Endodontics, Implant dentistry and restorative dentistry.

Continuing education in all aspects of dentistry, average 100 hours per year.
